Library Salutes Young Page-Turners
Author Elsa Brizzi signs books for the young readersFourteen young El Morro Elementary students took turns reading “You Are a Very Special You” at the Laguna Beach Library earlier this month, earning certificates of achievement and getting their books signed by an author.
AAUW-Laguna Beach, El Morro Elementary and the Laguna Beach Library teamed up to honor young readers. Author and AAUW-LB member Elsa Brizzi signed books for the children and presented them with certificates of achievement.
Participating students also took part in drawing a mural sponsored by the library, said children’s librarian Rebecca Porter.
